Top 5 rooftop restaurants in Southern California

I love a good rooftop restaurant! This is why I compiled a list for you of my favorite rooftop restaurants/ lounges in Southern California!

5. Andaz- San Diego

600 F St, San Diego, CA 92101

I’ve only ever been to Andaz at night and always loved the views of San Diego from the rooftop. This may be the only rooftop in Gaslamp and its on top of a beautiful hotel in the area!

4. Elephante

1332 2nd St, Santa Monica, CA 90401

Elephante is perfect to visit after a day at the beach. Its a hidden treasure tucked away in Santa Monica and totally worth the visit!

3. Perch- LA

448 S Hill St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Perch holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first places I went to with Saif. It can get very crowded so definitely plan ahead and get there early to avoid waiting in a long line.

2. Catch- LA

8715 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Catch has the best food, hands down! With vegan and gluten-free options Catch is a top pick for me and my friends!

1. The Fifth- Anaheim

1650 S Harbor Blvd g, Anaheim, CA 92802

This is the go to place if you are visiting Disneyland as a tourist or you’re a local to the OC area! This is the only rooftop lounge in Anaheim that features live music almost every day of the week and has daily specials! The food is amazing (I recommend the cheeseburger flatbread), the Sangria is to die for. If you stay until 9:30 you will catch the best view of the Disneyland fireworks at the comfort of your table!

Korean Spa

When I went to my first Korean spa experience aka “Jimjilbang” I was literally shocked. A common open area where you are completely naked. I was terrified! Like most women I have some body insecurities and I’m definitely not where I want to be in terms of physique, so being in an area where I’m totally nude wasn’t ideal. When I first shed my clothing I was self conscious but after a while I got used to it I mean.. we were all nude! After my feeling of insecurity left I started to feel liberated, mainly because it was something that terrified me and I did it! I first went in the jacuzzi to soften the skin. I then went into the sauna and the most uncomfortable part, the cold dip! Going from hot to cold is really good for the circulation. I was then called to the back room to receive a full body scrub and massage. After the scrub and massage was finished, I was covered in warm milk on my body and face. This helps to whiten the skin. When I left I was feeling so soft and invigorated! Going to the k spa is more appealing to me now than doing to a fancy resort style spa because I love seeing immediate results!

Here are the details on my favorite Korean spa:

Ispa- 2332 Barranca Pkwy Irvine, CA 92606

Sleeping with silk

There is always some type of latest beauty trend and silk seems to be the newest hype! I was lucky to get gifted the Slip silk eye mask and a silk pillowcase by The Hollywood Silk Solution. The first day I tried it out, I fell in love! Using both the pillowcase and eye mask felt so luxurious, but what are the benefits? I decided to look into this more to share with you the top benefits of using these products.

  1. Well the obvious, you get a really good nights sleep when you are comfortable!
  2. Benefits with fighting reducing the appearance of wrinkles
  3. It is naturally hypoallergenic which means no dust mites and its resistant to allergens!
  4. Reduces hair frizz! Anti-frizz always catches my attention since I have naturally frizzy hair. I used the pillowcase for the first time after getting a blowout, and the blowout lasted two days longer than my typical blowout lasts!

After using the eye mask and pillowcase I am now a lover of silk everything! Hoping to transition to silk sheets soon but still can’t find sheets that I love. Once I do I will share my find but for now I linked my eye mask and pillowcase below!

Bloggers who brunch/ Bumblebizz Event

Last weekend I went to my first LA event! I was a little apprehensive to go to an LA event because it feels more pressuring than an OC event. When I arrived there was a long line (like everything LA) but long lines means its always worth it, right? There was a DJ, gift bags with things I could actually use, a flower wall/ photo booth and drinks! Everyone I met during the event was so nice! The vibe was great and the event was very well put together. Looking forward to the next event!

Outfit details:

My shoes are Valentino. I linked the Valentino Rockstud Heels. I also found an alternative for way less here

My blazer I bought during the Zara sale- major steal! I found a high end alternative by Veronica Beard. I also found a more affordable option here

My skirt I bought from Club Monaco and it is no longer available but I found an alternative here

Lately I’ve been obsessed with hair masks and repairing my dry ends. I get a lot of questions about my hair and how I keep it looking healthy when it is so long. Honestly I haven’t been into haircare until the past year. Getting my hair cut literally gives me anxiety because every hair stylist I’ve ever gone to gets snip happy. With that being said, I haven’t gotten my hair cut in two years, and tried out many products to avoid going to the salon. My haircare routine currently consists of a hair mask every other shower and using heat protectant. I like to switch up my routine to see what works to share with you all so check back as I try new product! I linked some of my favorite masks, let me know what your favorites are!
